At Tabitha, we believe that construction is a profession built on relationships, hard work, dedication and relevant experience.
These can only be sustained by quality of work, honesty, integrity, fairness, equity and justice. Our commitment and our approach are therefore on these cardinal values.
Don’t worry about sounding professional. Sound like you. There are over 1.5 billion websites out there, but your story is what’s going to separate this one from the rest. If you read the words back and don’t hear your own voice in your head, that’s a good sign you still have more work to do.
Tabitha Ventures, Inc. was founded in 2005 by Oladiran Edward Taiwo. Edward immigrated from Nigeria to the United States in 1997. He studied Building at Yaba College of Technology, Lagos, Nigeria (1984 – 1990) and Civil Engineering at Bradley University in Peoria, IL (2000 - 2003). As a student aide, he worked for the United States Army Corps of Engineers – Geotechnical Engineering Branch at Rock Island, IL.
With extensive work experiences spanning over 10 years in his home country ranging from structural engineering design to construction supervision and management, Edward is optimistic to make a difference in the construction industry, an industry that is lacking minority participation.
"I am not unaware that our profession is full of risks where few companies survive their first very few years. Even with sincerity of purpose and dedication coupled with hard work, I knew it will take ‘breakthroughs’ along the way for survival. I said to myself, 'There are harvest of opportunities in the field full of risks'. " - Edward Taiwo, President
